Who Qualifies for 1% Funding?

 

  • Local organizations whose work is solely in the Gunnison Valley
  • Organizations who need financial support to carry out their stewardship or land conservation projects
  • Organizations whose projects include but are not limited to: fee-simple land acquisition, purchasing conservation easements, stewardship of public lands
  • Organizations whose projects align with our mission, vision and or our values

ABOUT US

Mission - 1% for Open Space raises funds to support the conservation & stewardship of our open spaces in the Gunnison Valley. Vision - 1% for Open Space is a financial catalyst to preserve and protect the environmental integrity and landscapes of the Gunnison Valley for the benefit of present and future generations.
