Crested Butte Wildflower Festival

The mission of the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival is to advocate for the preservation and appreciation of wildflowers. The Wildflower Festival began in 1986 through the efforts of a few insightful Crested Butte locals who envisioned a wildflower celebration in one of the most picturesque valleys in Colorado. The Festival has grown into a summer-long season with over 300 events offered by over 60 instructors, tour guides and volunteers.

Mission - 1% for Open Space raises funds to support the conservation & stewardship of our open spaces in the Gunnison Valley. Vision - 1% for Open Space is a financial catalyst to preserve and protect the environmental integrity and landscapes of the Gunnison Valley for the benefit of present and future generations.
